BFA Cafeteria Update:  Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 6:45 a.m. to the start of first period.  Now offering freshly made breakfast sandwiches toasted on the panini press along with several options.

The cafeteria has been rearranged.  Express and Pizza will be offered behind the fireplace.  You will also find all the ala carte items there.  The front end is now open concept.  Nachos being served on the left side, Chef’s Entrée in the center and Deli with paninis on the right.  Grab & Go cooler with yogurt parfaits and pre-made salads are against the wall in the deli line.  Salad bar, fruit and milk in the center.  Form 3 lines and go through either register.

BFA Unified Sports is a great club to meet new friends, have fun and get in shape!  We compete in: Soccer, Snowshoeing, Floorball, Basketball and Bocce.  Each sport is approximately 8 weeks long.  Join one or join them all.  We meet on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00.  Please see Mr. Naylor, Mrs. Bilodeau, Mr. Mercier, or Mr. MacAndrews for more details.  Soccer starts Thursday, September 5th at the Complex, north end near lacrosse field.  Unified Sports is for EVERYONE!

Are you a creative person?  Do you like working with digital arts and photos?  Are you organized and detailed?  Or are you looking for an extra-curricular event to join, college look for high school publication activities?  The BFA Yearbook Committee may be for you!  Yearbook is looking for more student staff members.  The Yearbook Committee is open to all grades.  We meet Mondays and Thursdays, and our first meeting is this Thursday, September 5th at 3 p.m. in the South Computer Lab, near the Math Department Office.  If you cannot make the meeting times and you still want to be involved, please contact Mrs. Howard (Room B-206) or Mrs. Parent (Room A-314).

The BFA  Guidance Office is offering a field trip to the College Fair at St. Michael’s College on Thursday, September 19th.  We will take two buses for those juniors and seniors wanting to attend.  This is first-come, first-served, so get your permission slip in early.  Buses will be leaving promptly at 8:20 a.m.  Students will be dismissed from class at 8:10 a.m.  The College Fair is also open on Wednesday evening, 9/18/19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. if students/parents would like to attend on their own.  Permission slips can be found in Guidance and must be returned to the Guidance Office before Noon on Friday, 9/6/19.

Do you like trivia?  Competition?  Good times?  Scholars Bowl will have our first meeting/practice of the year next MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th!!!  We’ll meet at 3 p.m. in Room A-210.  Please join us and bring a friend!

There will be a ski & snowboard club meeting on Tuesday, September 10th in the Library at 3:00 p.m.  Please notify Chris Pepin or Jodi Walker if you cannot attend.

The St. Albans Free Library is looking for teen volunteers.  We will be meeting on September 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the youth room upstairs at the library to plan upcoming fall programming.  Visit the youth room at the library to sign up or for details email Becky at stalbansfreelibrary@gmail.com.
