**  ATTENTION SENIORS:  If you did not attend the senior class meeting last week, be sure to see the Balfour Rep TODAY (10/4)  during lunch periods for cap/gown measurements and diploma information.  He will be located outside the cafeteria.

The BFA Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 7-10 p.m. in the gym.  Admission is $5 per person.  If you would like to bring a guest from another school, you must pick up a permission form in the Main Office and return it no later than 2:45 p.m. TODAY!

Please return any overdue library materials.  Emails will be sent home beginning on October 7th.  If you have any questions about what books you might have just come by the Library and we’ll provide the titles.

Outdoor Adventure Club:  If you like spending time outdoors, enjoy new adventures, and look for different challenges, then think about getting involved with the new BFA Outdoor Adventure Club!!  If trying and learning about activities like hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, snowshoeing, outdoor cooking, fishing, and rock climbing (among others), sound interesting, then this might be the club for you.  There will be an introductory meeting on Monday, October 7th at 3:00 p.m. in Room  W-202 (Science Department) to provide more information and answer any questions that people may have.  We look forward to meeting with any and all prospective adventurers!!

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  Don’t forget to sign-up to take your PSAT’s.  They will be given on Wednesday, October 16th from 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Collins-Perley Sports Center.  The cost is $20 or if you have free and reduced lunch you can get a waiver.  Sign-up in the Guidance Office.  This is your only chance this year to take this test.  Deadline for signing up is Friday, October 11th.

AP StudentsIf you have registered to  take one or more AP tests, your deposit is due by 11/1/19.  Please drop off completed forms and deposits to Mrs. Gunter in Guidance.

Community Service Opportunity:  We are looking for some students to help out with the State Elks Soccer Shoot at the Complex on Sunday, October 13th from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Anyone interested can contact Nikki Hall at nhall@maplerun.org.
