Community Service Opportunity: St. Paul’s Methodist Church is hosting a craft sale on Saturday, December 7th. We would like to set up on Friday, December 6th from 12-2 p.m., and tear down on Saturday, December 7th from 3-4 p.m., or when done. They are hoping for 2-3 students both days, particularly Friday is harder to staff. St. Paul’s is on Church Street in St. Albans. Please use the parking lot door behind the museum and ask for Debbie Begnoche or Tom Roby. Please contact Tom Roby at 527-7405 if you can help.
Calling all writers and lovers of stories! BFA will be participating in Vermont Young Playwrights in connection with Vermont Stage Company and The Flynn Theater. Students can participate in a workshop with a local playwright and generate their own 10-minute play. All plays will be submitted to the festival and 3 will be chosen, one to be read by local professional actors, one to be performed and directed by local professionals and one honorable mention. Driver’s Education applications are being accepted for the next session. Please submit your application to the Northwest Technical Center. Next session dates are 1/6-2/21. There will be a morning class from 6:15-7:15 a.m. and an afternoon session from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Calls will be made to each household to confirm your spot in the class.
