ST. ALBANS CITY SCHOOL DUCK UPDATE

The two adults ducks (mom and dad) that once roamed the grass outside our kindergarten classrooms have happily joined Mrs. Cox's mother's duck in her backyard in St. Albans. All three ducks stick closely together as a flock. Three of the eggs moved with the pair of ducks hatched and those young ones are thriving. Additionally, the chicken that seemed to have bonded with the duck pair when they were at City School was added to Mrs. Cox's mom's flock of six other chickens. She and they are happily scratching around the back yard and vegetable garden.
