Clinical Medical Assistant

Accepting Applications for Spring 2020

Once registered, look in your email for application instructions. 
Deadline is March 1, 2020. Approval notification by mid-March of 2020. Orientation is Wednesday, April 8 from 5:30-7:30 pm and course begins April 22, 2020. It's a 10 month program. Wednesdays, 5:30 - 8:30 pm and one Saturday per month from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus 40 hours of clinicals.

Includes: Clinical Medical Training (24 weeks), Introduction to Phlebotomy Training and CPR/First Aid/AED. Minimum of 40 clinical experience hours during the course.

Fall 2020 course will start in August.
Cost: $2,200 (includes textbook) Excludes $155.00 certification exam.
Location: Northwest Technical Center
Instructors: Vary based on subject matter.
CPR & First Aid Certification / Recertification (for Adult/Child/Infant)Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 5-9pm.

Cell Phone Policy: Due to privacy rights and potential disturbance to others, cell phones are to be put away and silenced or turned off when in class or lab. During clinicals, you are not allowed to carry a cell phone.

St. Albans classes take place at Valley Crossroads Plaza near the base of St. Albans Hill at the intersection of Fisher Pond Road (Vermont 104) and Upper Fairfield Street (Route 36).

* *Acceptance into this program starts with a formal application process.We listened to the employers and you, the students, and we have now merged both I and II by working alongside UVM Medical Center to deliver one course that ends with national certification and endorsed by the largest hospital in Vermont.

Burlington Training Site: Class starts February 6, 2020. Every Thursday evening from 5:30-9pm for 24 weeks, plus clinicals. Includes CPR/First Aid/AED Training.

St. Albans Training Site: Class starts May 20, 2020. Every Wednesday evening from 5:30 - 9pm for 24 weeks, plus clinicals. Includes CPR/First Aid/AED Training.
