It’s important that you are aware of the new Vermont Tobacco Prevention Law, Act 27, effective September 1st, 2019. This law has increased its legal age limit to buy and possess tobacco products from 18 to 21 years old. This will make it illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to possess or purchase tobacco products, tobacco substitutes, and paraphernalia.
