BFA SPIRIT WEEK (OCT. 26-30):

ATTENTION BFA STUDENTS:  As part of Spirit Week, Student Council and Interact are running a class cereal drive competition!  Bring boxes of cereal with you to school and place them in the bins at your designated entrance.  Student Council members will be there to ask you your class to add to the weekly tally.  The winning class will receive Spirit Week points toward the overall total!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTSThe Friends for A Dog Foundation is a non-profit arts and education program that honors the life and spirit of Andy (A Dog) Williams, a BFA graduate. The Foundation is excited to announce a new music education scholarship for students.  Selected students will receive free music lessons and a musical instrument over the course of several years. Mrs. Rico’s book club – Reminder – this month’s book is Beasts Made of Night by Tochi Onyebuchi.  If you would like to read the book, I have 5 copies left to borrow.  Everyone is welcome to come to the book club when their schedule allows.  We meet on Thursdays from 3-4 p.m. in the Library.  Hope to see you there.

BFA GSA - What is a GSA?  GSA stands for Gay Straight Alliance for LGBTQ+ students and their allies in creating positive changes and a culture of support within their school communities.

University of Vermont - Virtual Open House:  Due to COVID-19, we have reimagined our Open House events for the fall to a virtual format.  Please save the date of November 9, as each event will include a UVM overview, academic offerings, and a student panel.  Just as a reminder, UVM waives the $55 application fee for Vermont students if they apply Early Action, which has an 11/1 deadline.

BFA is hosting a virtual visit with Lincoln Tech on Wednesday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m.
