DON’T FORGET to purchase “A Night Among the Stars” Prom tickets! Tickets are $35 per person and may be purchased in the Principal’s Office before and after school or during lunches. The prom will be held at the Hilton Burlington Hotel on Saturday, May 18th. If you have a guest who is NOT a BFA student, you must obtain permission. Permission slips are available in the Main Office.
Junior Jam is here! Come support your class in this annual One Act Play Competition of Student Directed Plays. This year comedies are focused around Murder Mysteries and Bad Auditions. The Freshman Director is Pilot DesLauriers, Sophomores have Isabelle Bonasera, Juniors have Ella Wright Simmons, and Seniors have the dynamic duo of Ava Walters and Rosie Newton.
The show is Thursday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. and has a $5 suggested donation. Come on out and support your class!
Come for an evening of entertainment and laughter on Friday, May 17th at 7 p.m. BFA’s Bobwhite Comet Competition is a tradition where seniors compete against each other to earn money for college. You’ll laugh your way through the evening – it’s well worth the $5 admission. Come early – the PAC fills up for this event!
BFA Gear is Here! The BFA Student Council is happy to offer one last opportunity to buy items with this year’s BFA logo design. This is a chance to pick up a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, or a hat for yourself or as a gift. A great idea if you have a student who will be entering BFA next school year. AUDITION FOR THE FALL MUSICAL! We will be presenting Matilda the Musical! There are many ways to be involved and it is a lot of fun! Come to the informational meeting on Monday, May 20th from 3-4 p.m. in the PAC. We will have workshops for folks to learn songs, dance, etc. on both Wednesday (5/22) and Thursday (5/23) from 3-5 p.m. in the PAC. (You do not need to attend both days, but you are welcome to!)
