Maple Run Unified School District

For several years SACS has been focusing on planting and protecting milkweed and pollinator flowers to help monarch butterflies thrive. Indeed, they are now a certified monarch way station because of their efforts. They had seen a few butterflies each summer but nothing like this summer. Gardeners and people who spend time in the outdoors locally have noticed far more butterflies than in the last half dozen years. Well done!
