SUMMER CAMPS AND PROGRAMS

Dear Maple Run Families,

I’m writing to share news regarding summer camps and programing for Maple Run students.

For the past three years we’ve been able to run free summer camps and programs at all of our campuses; these programs have all been funded with COVID relief funds, which we have now nearly exhausted. While summer programming is changing, we’ve hear loud and clear from families how important it is to have opportunities for their children to stay positively engaged over the summer, and the importance of child care.

We’ve been working with the St. Albans City Recreation Department and the Black Creek Adventure Camp (hosted at the Fairfield Community Center) to ensure access to free (for Maple Run students) programing this summer. St. Albans City School is also a recipient of a 21st Century Grant that will allow for limited school based programing on their campus this summer. We will have more information to share shortly after the Winter Break, so keep an eye out for summer themed communication!

Sincerely,

Bill Kimball
