SOCCER CLINIC GRADES 5-8 INFORMATION SATEC Athletics will be hosting a free soccer clinic for students in grades 5-8 who are interested in playing this fall. The clinic will be held on August 6th-8th at SATEC.
Athletes are encouraged, but not required, to join us for three sessions of action packed drills and games. The clinic’s purpose is to increase soccer knowledge and to improve physical skills while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship. Participants will be divided into teams by age and/or level and will rotate to stations that cover the fundamentals of soccer.Please more information below.
Where: SATEC’s soccer fields (Please use back parking lot for drop off and pick up)
Who: Any SATEC student entering grades 5-8 who are interested in playing soccer.
Dates and Times:
Monday, August 6th, Boys 5-8 4:00-5:30, (5:30-6:00 Parent/Player Meeting) Girls 5-8, 6:00-7:30.
Tuesday, August 7th Boys 5-8, 4:00-5:30, Girls 5:30-7:00 p.m
Wednesday, August 8th Boys 5-8 4:00-5:30, Girls 5:30-7:00 p.m.
• Please note that there will be an informational Parent/Player Meeting on August 6th @ 5:30 at the end of boys’ clinic and before the girls’ clinic starts.
Rain or shine! The only weather that will keep us from playing is thunder and lighting. Please come prepared and dressed appropriately.
All players will be receiving soccer shorts as a part of their uniform. The option to purchase these shorts to wear for the season, other sports, and/or PE classes is available. The shorts will be $12.00. We will have samples of the shorts and sizes at the parent meeting. You can order and pay there, as well as order and pay at pick up. If you wish not to purchase the shorts, the athlete will return them at the end of the season with their jersey. We will also have socks available that night to purchase. Shorts and socks for $20.00! Payments of cash or check written out to "Maple Run USD" with SATEC Soccer in the memo, will be accepted.

A Parent/Guardian to fill out The Player/Participation form.If you previously signed up for soccer your form will be sent home by mail. If you haven't, you will have to pick up one up at school, if you weren't on the previous sign up list or you can get one at the clinic.
Attend the Parent/Player meeting! Very important information that parents and players need to know.
Soccer season begins on August 29th for some teams. In order to participate, all paper work must be completed and handed in by August 29th. Student-athletes will not be able to participate until their paperwork is in.
