Maple Run Unified School District is seeking a Student Support Building Lead to join the team at Saint Albans City School.

This is an opportunity for an experienced special educator and teacher-leader to help strengthen the systems that support students academically, socially, and emotionally. The Student Support Building Lead works closely with school and district teams to connect building-level needs with district-wide strategies and ensure students have equitable access to the supports they need.

This is a non-caseload-bearing teacher-leader position with a focus on:

  • Strengthening and supporting

    Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

    implementation

  • Supporting consistent and effective academic and social-emotional interventions

  • Helping ensure compliance and implementation of student support systems

  • Promoting instructional coherence across the building

  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and district-level teams

  • Helping staff navigate and strengthen systems designed to support student success

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:

  • BA/BS in Special Education or a related field

  • Special Educator license

  • Experience working in a

    PK-8 school setting

  • At least two years of relevant experience preferred

A Master’s degree in education or a related field and an administrative endorsement are preferred. Handle with Care trainer certification and LSCI (Life Space Crisis Intervention) training are also preferred.
