On School Counselor Day, Maple Run Unified School District proudly recognizes and celebrates the dedicated school counselors who support our students, families, and staff every day. Our counselors play a vital role in creating school environments where students feel safe, valued, and understood, places where every child has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
School counselors work alongside students through both everyday moments and life’s more challenging transitions. They help students navigate academic planning, build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop confidence in themselves and their futures. Through listening, guidance, and advocacy, counselors ensure students know they are not alone and that their voices matter.
Beyond their work with students, our counselors partner closely with families, educators, and community organizations to build inclusive, responsive support systems.
