Attendance Matters

Regular attendance is more than just being in class; it’s about being part of the full learning experience. When students miss school, they miss lessons, hands-on activities, important discussions, and the chance to connect with friends and teachers. Every day at school is an opportunity to explore, grow, and be inspired!

This year, our students have 177 days of learning, which is nearly half of the year spent discovering new ideas, building skills, and making memories. Our district goal is for students to attend at least 95% of school days, which means missing very few days throughout the year.

Families play a key role in helping students meet this goal. Please plan dentist or doctor appointments, family vacations, sports tournaments, and other activities around no-student days or school breaks whenever possible. Even a few missed days can add up and make it harder for students to stay fully engaged and successful.

Together, we can help every student be present, fully engaged, and inspired every day. Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance a priority because every day counts!
