Teacher Week!

National Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated each year during the first full week of May. It began in the 1950s as a national effort to recognize the important role teachers play in the lives of children and in our communities. Over time, it has grown into a week of appreciation for educators and all school staff who support students every day.

At Maple Run, we know it takes an entire team to support our students. While this week often highlights classroom teachers, we’re also recognizing paraeducators, counselors, nurses, office staff, custodians, food service staff, coaches, librarians, technology staff, and administrators, everyone who helps make our schools welcoming, safe, and supportive.

We are so grateful for the care and dedication our staff brings to students every day.

If you’d like to join in celebrating them, we encourage families and community members to send a quick note of thanks to a staff member who has made a difference. Even a short message can mean a lot.

Staff directories with “Send Message” links are available on each school’s MapleRun.org website.
