Maple Run Unified School District Earns Governor’s GOLD Level Award for Worksite Wellness Excellence

Maple Run Unified School District is proud to announce it has been awarded the 2025 Governor’s Excellence in Worksite Wellness – GOLD Level Award by the Vermont Department of Health and the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. This prestigious recognition highlights the district’s strong commitment to promoting health and wellness for all employees.

The GOLD Level Award celebrates organizations that go above and beyond in creating a workplace culture that values physical activity, nutrition, mental well-being, and overall health. Maple Run’s wellness initiatives support staff through programs, resources, and practices that encourage healthy lifestyle choices at work and beyond.

“We’re honored to receive this recognition. It reflects the intentional work our staff has done to create a supportive and healthy work environment,” said Superintendent Bill Kimball.

Award recipients will be honored in person at the Vermont Safety and Health Council's 29th Annual Expo, scheduled for October 31, 2025, at the Killington Grand Resort.

Maple Run Unified School District is proud to join other Vermont employers in making wellness a priority and will continue to foster a culture of health and support for all.
