Two Weeks Left – FREE Summer Meal Boxes for Kids
Week 7 of our Summer Meal Box distribution is complete, and we are so grateful for the continued support from our amazing Maple Run community! This week alone, we handed out 457 meal boxes — that’s 3,199 breakfasts and 3,199 lunches, totaling 6,398 meals for children across our district. Over the past seven weeks, we’ve now distributed an incredible 51,170 meals to help keep kids nourished and ready for summer learning, play, and growth.
Why do we do this during summer break? Because kids still need healthy meals, even when school’s out. Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program, Maple Run helps fill the gap many families face when school breakfast and lunch aren’t available.
Only 2 weeks remain for summer meal box pick-up:
August 12, 13 & 14
