Attendance is a shared commitment between schools, families, and communities. Chronic absenteeism, missing 10% or more of school days, or about 18 days in a year, affects learning and can make it difficult for students to build friendships, develop social skills, and stay academically on track.
Our school community uses attendance data to support students early, identify barriers to regular attendance, and partner with families to find solutions.
When students attend school consistently, they benefit academically, socially, and emotionally, and the entire community thrives.
