The Saint Albans Police Department has asked us to adjust dismissal plans for Friday, May 8th, due to an expected large protest in downtown Saint Albans. There may be road closures and traffic delays around Taylor Park and Main Street.
Bellows Free Academy, Northwest Career & Technical Center, and Spring Academy will dismiss at 11:30 AM.
For safety, students in those buildings are asked to leave the downtown area at that time.
All other Maple Run schools will dismiss at their regular times. Some bus routes may be adjusted, and families will be notified if drop-off times change.
Saint Albans City School families on Main Street (Kingman–Stowell) and Stebbins Street have already received separate transportation information.
