This spring, Maple Run Unified School District is honoring three outstanding educators who are retiring after many years of dedicated service to our students, schools, and community.
Douglas Bell, Engineering Technologies Instructor, is retiring after 28 years of service. Through his work, Doug has helped students build strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence as they prepare for future careers.
Barbara Tenney, English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher serving throughout the entire district, is retiring after 15.5 years with Maple Run. She has supported multilingual learners across our schools, helping students build language skills, confidence, and connection in their learning.
Jennifer Callahan, Kindergarten Teacher at SATEC, is retiring after 33 years. Her long career in early childhood education has laid the foundation for learning for generations of students, and her care and dedication have had a lasting impact.
We are deeply grateful to each of them for their years of service, commitment, and the difference they have made in the lives of students and colleagues across Maple Run Unified School District. Their impact will be felt for years to come.
The community is invited to join us in celebrating their careers:
