Special Educator at Saint Albans City School
Maple Run Unified School District is looking for a Special Educator to join the team at Saint Albans City School.
This is a full-time K–8 position supporting students with disabilities and working closely with teachers, support staff, families, and other partners to provide appropriate services, accommodations, and interventions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with disabilities and a strong understanding of special education requirements and practices. Experience with behavioral strategies, accommodations, and interventions for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges is also important.
What we're looking for:
Valid Vermont Teaching License with the appropriate endorsement as a Consulting Teacher and/or Special Education (7–12)
Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities
Knowledge of state and federal special education requirements
Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and community agencies
Experience with behavioral strategies, accommodations, and interventions
At least two years of relevant experience preferred
Master's degree preferred
