Classroom substitute pay has increased!
High school diploma: $19/hour
College degree: $19.50/hour
Current Vermont teacher's license: $20–$25/hour
No school experience is necessary for classroom substitutes. Training and support are provided!
Other Substitute Opportunities
Nursing substitutes: $30/hour (current Vermont nursing licensure required)
Custodial substitutes: $15/hour
Maintenance substitutes: $16/hour
